DHA has signed a contract to work with Pergentium Ltd and to provide them with sales and marketing support in the UK and Ireland. Their main product is a new electronic brachytherapy system called Xoft that allows breast cancer patients access to a single dose of radiotherapy at the time of surgery that is equivalent to 6 weeks of conventional treatment as an outpatient. This eliminates the need to travel long distances and allows treatment closer to home. The system is truly portable, switched off when in transit and can be offered as a managed service.

DHA has recently completed the installation of a swing door for the new Cyberknife unit at the Royal Marsden, Fulham Rd and also supplied in association with RTL, neutron shielding materials at the Raigmore Hospital, Inverness for thier new high energy Linac bunker.

DHA have recently installed both swing and sliding automated shielding DIB doors at the Mount Vernon Hospital Cyberknife facility and St Thomas’ Hospital TomoTherapy unit.
We also are in the process of manufacturing a swing door for the new Cyberknife facility at the Royal Marsden Hospital in Chelsea. RTL neutron shielding was installed at Nottingham City Hospital late last year.

DHA is now able to offer Lead shielding for the walls of Linac bunkers when upgrading your bunker to Cyberknife or Tomotherapy machine installations. The extruded chevron Lead plate is available in 10cm height and in a variety of lengths and thickness's. This is in addition to our neutron shielding, bunker design and shielding door products for radiotherapy centres.

The installation of the 44 ton sliding door at the Diamond Light Source Synchrotorn facility in Harwell is now being carried out by DHA/DIB production. The door is designed to run on a special rail system, ensuring the extreme weight is managed effectively and to guarantee a long working life.
